Story
Nyttig means ‘useful’ in Danish - a functional cane designed for simplicity and discretion.
Realizing that many cane users feel unrepresented by traditional designs, Anker created Nyttig to solve this problem.
The design had to be clean and elegant, yet neutral - never something that stood out in public, only something truly useful.
Design
Made from oak for a natural look, Nyttig features a simple yet refined joinery that highlights craftsmanship.
The handle is carefully shaped and carved to fit the natural grip of the hand.
While the oak ensures beauty and durability, the clever bracket solution, Snedig - Danish for ‘clever’ - prevents the cane from toppling over.
It securely holds onto the surface, freeing both the mind and a valuable hand.

Nyttigとは、デンマーク語で「役に立つ」という意味で、シンプルさと慎重さを追求した機能的な杖です。
杖を使う多くの人々が従来のデザインでは物足りなさを感じていることを知ったアンカーは、その問題を解決するためにNyttigを開発しました。
デザインは清潔でエレガントでありながらニュートラルで、人前で目立つようなものでは決してなく、真に役立つものでなければなりませんでした。
オーク材で作られたナチュラルな外観のNyttigは、クラフトマンシップを際立たせるシンプルで洗練された接合部が特徴です。
ハンドルは自然な手のグリップにフィットするよう、丁寧に彫刻し、形作られています。
オーク材が美しさと耐久性を保ちながら、デンマーク語で「賢い」という意味の「Snedig」というスマートなブラケット・ソリューションが杖の転倒を防ぎます。
表面をしっかりホールドし、心と大切な手の両方を解放してくれます。
