Sometimes the world asks us to keep moving when the body asks for a break. Choosing your own pauses and places is at the core of dignity. AB042 Arch is a cane for walking, and a seat for the moments when rest cannot wait.
It was first developed with Vibeke and Karen, two women living with multiple sclerosis, who needed support close at hand. It gives back the vital freedom of deciding for yourself when to stop and when to move on. And with it, the courage to venture further into life.
ときに世界は、身体が休息を求めているにもかかわらず、動き続けることを求めます。自分自身で「いつ休むか、どこで休むか」を選べることは、尊厳の核心です。AB042 Archは歩行のための杖であり、そして休息を待つことができない瞬間のためのシートでもあります。
このプロダクトは、多発性硬化症と共に生き、身近な支えを必要としていた2人の女性、VibekeとKarenと共に開発されました。このシートつきの杖は、いつ立ち止まり、いつ歩き出すかを自分自身で決めるという、極めて重要な自由を取り戻してくれます。そしてその自由が、さらに踏み出す勇気をもたらします。
