Inspired by Japanese home altars, the butsudan, it is reimagined as a domestic ritual of presence, reflection and memory. A place for keeping memories, old and new, close at hand, and for anchoring ourselves in the people, objects and moments that shape our lives. It is made to live in the home, among the everyday things around us.
