Some chairs are for sitting down. Others are for staying a while, to read, work, rest or simply look out at what is around you. Gaze High-back was developed around that slower kind of time.
Gaze High-back is a reclining lounge chair with its construction left visible. Developed with Takumi Kohgei, it brings oak and steel together with a high back designed for longer periods of sitting. A matching stool can extend the support, whether the chair is used for working, resting or simply gazing.
椅子には、ただ座るためのものもあれば、読書や仕事、休息、あるいは周囲の景色を眺めながら、ゆっくりと過ごすためのものもあります。Gaze High-backは、そんなゆっくりとした時間のために開発されました。
Gaze High-backは、構造をあえて見せるデザインのリクライニングラウンジチェアです。匠工芸との協働により、オーク材とスチールを組み合わせ、長時間座って過ごせるよう背もたれを高く設計しています。オプションのスツールを組み合わせれば、仕事や休息、あるいはただ景色を眺めるときにも、よりゆったりと過ごせます。
